Mediocre is the debut album of Mexican singer Ximena Sariñana, released in 2008. Mediocre was released in the United States on July 15, 2008. It was produced by Tweety González. Mediocre has reached #2 on the Mexican Album Charts, and spawned the hit single "Vidas Paralelas", which reached #9 on the Mexican 100 Charts. It also gained popularity when iTunes used Sariñana's song "Normal" as the canción de la semana—iTunes's Latino free song of the week—the week of July 8, 2008. Mediocre has also garnered good reviews by critics, achieving five-star status by users of Amazon.com and by SoMinty. Mediocre was also rated four stars by both readers and staff of Rolling Stone. Mediocre has been nominated for two awards for the Latin Grammy Awards and four more awards for the MTVla Awards.
